Introduction of Salas-De-Los-Infantes
City, in Burgos province, in the N, on the ArlanzaRiver, 30 mi SE of Burgos. In 1924 the urns of themuch-venerated seven infants of Lara, which were inthe Santa Maria Church here, were moved to BurgosCathedral. Other historical points of interest includethe Siete Salas Palace, two famous monasteries, and an ancient Benedictine convent founded in the sixthcentury a.d. and known for its beautiful cloister.
